The consolidation of all Pottsville Area School District elementary students in a central location has been accomplished by the opening of the John S. Clarke Elementary Center on January 4, 1982, for kindergarten through fourth grade.
John S. Clarke Elementary Center is home to approximately 1,030 students, kindergarten through fourth grade. Despite our large size, we strive to maintain a nurturing atmosphere we believe to be vital to the academic, emotional and social development of each child.
The John S. Clarke Elementary Center consists of two interconnected buildings. The upper building houses kindergarten, first and second grades, while the lower building houses third and fourth grades. All classes are self-contained. More...
