Technology Vision Statement

Technology at Pottsville Area School District has been identified as one of the six priority organizational goals addressed in the district's strategic plan. Pottsville Area School District will continue to increase student and faculty accessibility to technology. To fulfill this goal, technology and the necessary infrastructure must be infused throughout the district, at all levels and locations. The district recognizes that technology must be viewed as a common, accessible tool that will enhance the student's method to effectively access, organize, interpret and apply information in all curricular areas. The ultimate outcome is to prepare students to be lifelong learners who are skilled at using technology to access information upon demand.
