Request for Proposal - Full Service Elevator Maintenance and Repair Services
Sealed proposals will be received by the Pottsville Area School District until 12:00 noon, Thursday, May 17, 2022 for Full Service Elevator Maintenance and Repair Services in accordance with the School District's instructions and specifications. Instructions and specifications can be obtained from Mrs. Stacy Stair, Business Manager, at the Business Office, 1501 West Laurel Boulevard, Pottsville, PA 17901 or online at sstair@pottsville.k12.pa.us.
The Board of Directors reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals or any part of a proposal.
District XI has gone to all online ticketing for all post-season contests. All tickets must be purchased online. You cannot purchase a ticket at the door with cash. Senior Citizens do not need to purchase a ticket and will be admitted free of charge.

Virtual Tutoring available Tuesdays & Thursdays
Zoom Tutoring is offered Tuesdays and Thursdays as follows: PAHS from 2:45-4:00 p.m. DHHL & JSC from 3:15-6 p.m. You must sign up by 12 noon on the day you want to meet with a tutor by clicking on this link https://forms.gle/xw4fHub6WqusbjzX8 . The tutor will contact you to set up an appointment and send a Zoom link and password to your C-Tide email address during the tutoring time period. Please be patient. Flexible Instruction Day (FID) information for students and parents:
The Public School Code allows public school entities to develop a Flexible Instruction Day (FID) program to meet the 180 instructional day requirement.
While public school entities are expected to build make-up days into their local school calendars, FID programs can support the public school entities in cases when circumstances (e.g., a disease epidemic, a hazardous weather condition, a law enforcement emergency, the inoperability of school buses or other equipment necessary to the public school entity’s operation, damage to a school building, or another temporary circumstance rendering any portion of a school building unfit or unsafe for use) prevent the delivery of instruction in its customary manner or location.
Pursuant to the Public School Code allowance, Pottsville Area School District has been approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) for five (5) Flexible Instruction Days for the 2021-2022 school year.
